How is this different from Radio Garden or TuneIn?

It is a Leumas product, not a copy of either. The difference that matters is that a station here is a real page with its metadata on it, and that signing in turns it into your own radio — playlists that mix live stations with your own music, and a station you host. If all you want is to spin a globe, those are fine and free too.

Do you host or rebroadcast the audio?

No. We relay a public stream URL so your browser can play it, and we keep nothing. A station you host yourself streams your own uploaded media out of your own vault.

What do you store about me?

A pageview with the route and the referring site. Signed in, we store the favourites, playlists and stations you create. Nothing about what you listen to is sold or shared.

Why did a station stop playing?

Almost always the station itself went down or changed its stream URL. Stations that stall are counted, and ones that stay broken are retired from the registry.

Is there a visualiser?

Yes — it lives at reactive-music.leumas.tech and runs on whatever is playing. There is one visualiser and two doors into it, rather than two copies to keep in step.
